Hello, friends of kukubee!
First off, we apologize for the lack of news posts here. We've been using our Facebook page much more often these days for updates. For the latest and greatest breaking Kukubee news, follow us on the ol' Facebook!
Lots of crazy, exciting things have been happening in kukubeeland! Last month we participated in our first craft show in over a year, Make it The Handmade Revolution here in Vancouver, BC. We had a great time connecting with old friends and also making some new ones. It was nice to see many of your smiling faces out in the community supporting handmade! Big thank you, friends!
Also, we mentioned some upcoming shows in our previous news post. So excited that we can finally announce that we were honored to be asked (and gladly obliged) to contribute a piece to the iam8bit Entertainment System show at iam8bit gallery! We're huge fans of the gallery and can't believe we'll have our work up in the same gallery that many of our heroes have participated in. If you're in the LA area, you don't wanna miss this one.
We'll also be at Schmancy in downtown Seattle, Wa in October. Be sure to check out all the details for that event here! And that's not all. We're also working on piece(s) for yet ANOTHER announced show later this year. :)
And we saved the best for last! As many of you know, Brent has been working for Spry Fox (creators of the hugely popular Triple Town!) since January of this year. We haven't been able to share much about the many games he's been creating art for...until now! We're pleased to announce 'Road Not Taken,'a puzzle game about life and loss. Check out the trailer Brent drew and animated!
Oh, and that haunting little tune you're hearing? Why, that was written by none other than Daniel R Simmons, also formerly of Glitch! Yay, for partial reunions! Here's a little sneak peek of some of the art from 'Road Not Taken.'
Phew, that was a lot of stuff. And we're just getting started! Until next time, friends!

We're also doing two art shows in Los Angeles, Ca, but
we'll release the details as soon as we're allowed to.
Stay tuned! ;)

We're excited to announce that we just signed with a new game company with some respected game designers to work on some brand new games in 2013.
Also! A few of us former Tiny Speckers are working together and planning some new projects set to launch in the new year too. Can you say... partial reunion???

In Japan, the third day of the third month is observed as Girls'
Day, or Hinamatsuri,
the day of the Japanese Doll Festival.
But in Kukubee land, the third day of the third month is known as Happy My Sister's Birthday Day!
Happy birthday, sister and Steve!
See you Sunday!

And thank you to all who have supported us with your purchases, your kind words, your help, and your advice!

Hallow, there! Today is October 31st, and we all know what that means! It's All Hallow's Eve! The day before... Hallow Day?
Look! My sister, Shae, carved our Grim Bunny character into a pumpkin!
Yup, when Grim Bunny isn't too busy killing carrots, he is busy manifesting his appearance onto dead pumpkins.
No orange produce is safe from Grim Bunny!!!
